Join the campaign

We've been hitting the streets, and have already had fantastic support. for a socialist MP on a worker’s wage in Erdington so thank you to everybody that's helped so far!

Are you interested in coming to help us leaflet and canvas?

People are travelling from all over the UK to help with the campaign, to volunteer, fill in the form here and we can link you up with others who are coming to lend a hand.

In the meantime the basic plan for activity for the next few weeks is to meet Tuesday - Friday at 6pm for leafleting and canvasing sessions.

Our starting point will be at the end of Stockland Road, Stockland Green, Birmingham B23 7JH by the school fence. There is lots of parking on-street. Let us know when and what you can do, to help us plan for maximum impact!

There will also be activity including leafleting, campaign stalls, canvassing, each morning and during the day working from Stockland Road, so if you have spare time or a day off and would like to help during the day, please get in touch with when you are available.

What about the weekend?

Each weekend until the election, unless we have any public campaign events or a meeting, we have organised mass canvassing and campaigning with the meeting point and base at the Highcroft Community Centre on Slade Road where there is a car park and bar opening at 12 noon.

However you're also welcome to simply arrive when you can and just let us know!

Beyond the election

Even if you aren't able to make it to Erdington, there's still plenty of ways you can help. TUSC is gearing up to challenge the pro-austerity politicians at the ballot box in this May’s local elections and beyond - let us know if you’d like to be put in touch with the nearest supporters' group to you.

We're also hosting the TUSC Local Government Conference on Sunday, 6th February, at 11am to discuss the council elections. All are welcome so please register here.

Are you active in a trade union or a campaigning group? We're approaching workers' movement organisations for support in this campaign, and to work with TUSC in building a political alternative.

If you'd like to receive a model motion to raise in your union branch, Just contact us via phone/text 07974493525 or email [email protected]
